So, this happened on my local news yesterday morning. I almost forgot to show it to you.
Steve Prefontaine is something of a jogging celebrity in Oregon (yes, apparently Jim Fixx isn’t the only jogging celebrity).
Steve Prefontaine died in a car crash in 1975 while driving drunk.
I’m not sure if the pose the sculptor intended to show was Steve’s reaction just before his car hit the rock, but that’s sure what it looks like.
