I can’t even stay caught up with my dashboard when I’m awake during the day. I guess I need those late-night hours to catch up.

Well, maybe I’ll try attempt #3 to sleep, and then get back to scrolling later. Maybe this time my head won’t pound and my brain won’t hit me over the head with all of my failures at once like it did earlier.

OK, so the link I reblogged last night about Microsoft backpedaling on the Xbox One may have been a rickroll, but this one’s actually legit, as far as I can tell.

They’re bringing back support for disc-based games without all the new restrictions (trading, selling, sharing, playing at friends’ houses on their systems, and not needing to sign in once every day). If you buy a disc-based offline game, it’s actually your game to use as you see fit.

I still wouldn’t buy an Xbox One, but since I’ve been spreading the pitfalls of the system, it’s only fair that I share this information as well.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) just became the third senate Republican to come out in favor of marriage equality!

That makes 54 senators who aren’t going to be an embarrassment to their grandchildren (not for this, anyway).

Though in Murkowski’s case, it was probably the ol’ Biden sweet-talk that did the trick.

I went to bed early a few hours ago because I got a sudden attack of the tireds, but woke up about a half hour ago with my head pounding. The headache still hasn’t gone away, but it had subsided a bit and had just been sort of lurking in the background.

Now it seems to be back with a vengeance.

I wish I lived in a country that was civilized enough to let people see doctors without going into life-long debt unless they can afford insurance.

I keep telling myself that

but we’re at 2½ weeks now…it’s starting to get a little scary.

omg! he really admits it, about time.

There are times when, as a businessman, you’ve gotta admit to your mistakes and failures. The next step after that is learning from your mistakes and planning to do better in the future. Just like anything else in life, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

I’m sure Microsoft will bounce back in about 3 or 4 years with a bigger and better video game console, just as long as they realize exactly what went wrong. (*cough*tv*cough*, *cough*superduperpiracyparanoia*cough*) I’d happily buy it.

Until then, let’s see what the gaming market does with a cable box equipped with mandatory (possible) spyware, lol. I’m excited to see what the hacking culture does with it.

Chrysler Refuses NHTSA Request to Recall 2.7 million Jeeps:

This week, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration formally demanded a recall based on a long-running investigation of fuel tanks in the vehicles.

According to the NHTSA, the tanks, which are mounted behind the rear axle, are prone to catch fire in rear-end collisions. The agency tallied 51 deaths in Grand Cherokees and Liberties that were struck and then caught fire.

But Chrysler, in a strongly worded document it called a “white paper,” contended Tuesday that the “vehicles are not defective and their fuel systems do not pose an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety.”

Should they rename it the Jeep Pinto?

Except only 27 deaths were attributed to the Pinto’s fuel tank placement. Chrysler’s almost doubled that and they say there’s no problem.

Two weeks later, and they’ve finally relented and recalled them — but only for inspections in most cases. Basically, they’re doing the bare minimum to avoid public hearings on the issue.
