If I could write more in a tweet, this would have been my reply to Marco Rubio:

“I hope tonight’s tirade didn’t cost me my Executive Platinum status.” Yeah, I’d sure hate for a Tea Party darling to lose his entitlement program.

But he’s dependent upon American Airlines, he believes that he is a victim, he believes that American Airlines has a responsibility to care for him, he believes that he is entitled to first class upgrades, to priority boarding, to waived baggage charges, to you name it. That that’s an entitlement. And American Airlines should give it to him. 

And so my job is not to worry about Marco Rubio—I’ll never convince him that he should take personal responsibility and care for his flight.
