That sounds harrowing, but I’m glad you made it out fine and dandy! Also I hate to admit that I basically imagined CP’s cabin crew running around doing all those things you mentioned. But I did.

I was seriously imagining the same thing. The following scene (gifs and all) ran through my head:

Carolyn: “Well, just put the Chicago people on the plane we were going to send to Sacramento.”

Arthur: “Brilliant, mum!”

Douglas: “But then what do we do with the passengers who we are supposed to be taking to Sacramento?”

Arthur: “Brilliant point, Douglas!”

Carolyn: “Shut up, Arthur. Well, Douglas, we’ll put them on the plane that was going to Las Vegas.”

Arthur: “See, Douglas? It’s brilliant!”

Douglas: “Well, the thing is, you’re eventually going to run out of planes before you run out of passengers. What then?”

Martin: “I guess we just have to wait until nobody shows up for a flight, then cancel it. I figure we should be back on schedule sometime around March in the year 2025.”

Arthur: “Brilliant! Ooh, is that a polar bear?”

Douglas: “No, Arthur, that’s a jet fuel truck.”

Arthur: “Brilliant!”
