Q:Regarding the Olympic mascot eagle: he is painted on a water tower in Grapevine on I-5, how I always go to Disneyland, so I can't help but think of America Sings and Sam when passing it.
I read that he’s still used as a mascot for a track and field event at Mount SAC but that’s out in the Walnut/Diamond Bar area, about 100 miles from the Grapevine. Nice to see he lives on elsewhere too!
