OK, gonna try to sleep through the TV. Early start tomorrow, followed by something like 5½ hours on a plane.
Well, we’re off to a smashing start for the vacation. Nothing like anger and yelling to start off a family vacation on the right foot.
Today’s good news: After six days since my last mail tracking update on some DVD-Roms I’d ordered from Amazon (they left the east coast on the 10th and then disappeared from the radar), today they appeared in my mailbox.
Currently burning things to discs so I can then delete them from my hard drive and have more space available for the pics/videos I plan to take at Walt Disney World (gotta get that one last video of Maelstrom before it closes forever next month).
My first computer had a 2GB hard drive and I thought it was amazing at the time. Now 250GB isn’t enough.
Chicago’s newest attraction - a 1000ft-high viewing platform that offers spectacular downward facing views over the city. TILT is housed in 360 CHICAGO on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Tower and, as the name suggests, the enclosed glass and steel platform tilts visitors forward for a unique perspective of the city’s The Magnificent Mile.
